IOWA CITY, Iowa — Vampire Weekend and Bernie Sanders separately got huge cheers from the University of Iowa crowd Saturday night. But it was when they joined forces that the young potential caucus-goers really swooned.
Sanders came out for a cameo on "This Land is Your Land," singing along (thankfully off-mic — he's not much of a folk singer, as he proved in this old cover of the song), with the thousands in attendance singing along to every word.
