Barbara Streisand says she got Apple's Tim Cook to make a special change to Siri

Being one of the most famous entertainers on the planet comes with perks when it comes to dealing with Apple, especially if your name is Barbara Streisand

In a recent interview on NPR, the singer revealed that she contacted Apple CEO Tim Cook to get the pronunciation of her name fixed on Siri — and he agreed to do it. 

When show host Scott Simon decided to test Siri on air by asking a question that would bring up Streisand's name, Siri delivered but, according to Streisand, didn't get it completely correct. 

"[Siri] pronounces my name wrong," said Streisand. "Streisand with a soft S, like sand on the beach. I've been saying this for my whole career." Read more...
