Hurricane Matthew forces UMG to cancel Orlando 'Call of Duty' tournament

UMG was planning on hosting a $100,000 Call of Duty tournament in Orlando Oct. 7-9 until Hurricane Matthews reared its ugly head. The organization announced that its UMG Orlando tournament was canceled Tuesday night in anticipation of the hurricane. 

UMG stated in the announcement that it will be refunding all team passes and attendee passes in due course.

"Regardless of the financial losses, which not hosting the event exposes us to, we felt the safety of our community was obviously far more important," UMG said in its announcement. Read more...
