LOS ANGELES — The Walking Dead just set a Twitter record.

The AMC show's Sunday night Season 7 debut was the most-tweeted TV episode of 2016, not including sports/special events, according to Twitter.

Globally, there were 4.6 million tweets. The top moment on the social media platform came around 9:30 p.m. EST after the (sob!) second death of a character in that same episode.

The show has long been considered one of the most buzz-worthy television series.

During the 2015-2016 season, the zombie drama was the No. 1 most-tweeted series in the U.S. with an average of 435,000 tweets sent per episode. Read more...

"What the hell is he thinking?" That's a common refrain for anyone who follows politics in 2016. But it's also something millions of Americans spend years wondering about Richard Nixon.

In Being Nixon, Evan Thomas shows us an enigma shrouded in paranoia. Tricky Dick was a walking study in contradictions. Combatative in public, he had a massive inferiority complex in private — and was surprisingly easily manipulated by the people that surrounded him in the White House.  Read more...

LOS ANGELES — DJ Khaled documented his child's birth on Snapchat over the weekend, because of course he did.

Music from the DJ/Snapchat star's 2016 album Major Key accompanied the Snaps, which feature his fiancee Nicole Tuck in labour.

The news comes as no surprise given Khaled's popularity on the video sharing platform. He's become known for phrases he uses in his Snaps, including "major key" and "bless up."

Also, Khaled revealed to Jimmy Kimmel earlier this year that he planned on Snapping the baby's birth.

On Monday, the influencer uploaded a picture of new swag for his son. Read more...
