Pope Francis and Leonardo DiCaprio hung out, talked about climate change

Pope Frances is a bigger fan of The Revenant than you.

His Holiness had a private meeting with Oscar-nominated actor Leonardo DiCaprio on Jan. 28 in Vatican City to discuss climate change. The conversation focused on how the two can join forces to call attention to the need for climate action, the Vatican said in a statement. Also in attendance were DiCaprio's father, George, and Milutin Gatsby, the global fundraising chair for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.

The actor has been a longtime supporter of climate change awareness, recently pledging over $15 million to aid environmental groups, including Ocean and the Rainforest. Read more...
