What's the deal with advice columns?

One Seinfeld fan decided to find out as they majestically trolled syndicated columnist Amy Dickenson on Jan. 22. The anonymous author, who went under the pseudonym "Feeling Foolish," sent in the plot of an episode from the iconic 1990s sitcom to Dickenson's column, "Ask Amy." Feeling Foolish posed it as a real problem and Ask Amy answered as such.

The prankster used the story from the Seinfeld Season 3 two-parter entitled "The Boyfriend," in which Jerry Seinfeld meets New York Mets first baseman Kieth Hernandez.
